Retro Kitchens, Tasty Enough to Eat!

I'm still exploring kitchen ideas, but I've decided on pink for the walls and I have curtains picked out.  I still need to come up with a plan for the backsplash (paint?) and I need to find a very small dinette and vintage knobs for the cabinets.

There are many elements to a kitchen besides just wall color; there's trim, cabinets, curtains, dinettes, appliances, fixtures and more!

I can't wait to get started, but I'm trying to be patient, because there's nothin' worse than workin all day and night paintin' and then realizing it wasn't the color you were goin' for!

Don't forget to stop by The Happy Housewife and share your results!
