My kitchen in a magazine!

Yesterday, I was interviewed and photographed in my kitchen for the local paper's monthly home magazine.  It was just what I needed to get the lead out and finally finish my kitchen cabinets.  A while back I re-painted the pink walls in a brighter pink called Candy Tuft, and then decided, with the help of my hubby's expertise, to paint the cabinets turquoise.  Here's the finished product!

Been a while...

I haven't posted in a while, I've been super sick and working on finals week, so I'd thought I'd post some inspiration pics.  I recently re-painted my kitchen, yep, I'm crazy.  The pink I chose was lovely, but blended into the preexisting beige so much it almost looked brown.  It took me a while to figure out why I hated it, but when I did I decide it was well worth it to re-paint.  My hubby picked out a new pink for me, using logic, believe it or not, and it worked out quite well.  The new pink is refreshing, playful and feminine.  Now that my canvas is covered, I just need to fix the cabinets and find the perfect dinette!

My Living Room

Hey everyone!

It's been a long while since I posted.  I didn't have a computer, but I do now, so I should be posting regularly from here on out.  I've been up to some painting, lots of decorating and way too much thrifting!  I'm happy to say that the living room is painted, the lawn furniture is gone and the art is up on the walls instead of on the floor.
